The Energy Focus RedCap Emergency Battery Backup LED T8 lamp is a great choice to provide 90 minutes of emergency illumination in the event of loss of power. Each lamp provides general purpose everyday illumination in direct wire mode alongside the other lamps in the fixture in which it is installed, but upon loss of power the internal driver switches on to provide illumination to help building occupants safely find their exit. The LEDFLT8-850-411-BBUF is a 48" long 11 watt ballast bypass LED T8 lamp that provides 1,650 lumens of 5000K daylight white light and the following features:

• Type B- ballast bypass (120-277V) operation
• Internal battery provides 90 minutes of operation during loss of power
• The standard input end powers the lamp in normal mode, and the emergency input end charges the batteries and senses the presence of AC power (batteries charge even when lamps are off)
• Kit includes one lamp with two lampholders - one with red rotor and one with green rotor
• Emergency and standard fluorescent ballasts be removed
• Consumes less space than traditional emergency lighting systems
